Veeravratam Foundation

The Silence between Value and Recognition

Veeravratam Foundation operates at the intersection of ancient knowledge and modern opportunity. We work alongside rural, tribal, and forest-dwelling women, underprivileged and small farmers across India, enabling them to transform inherited knowledge into sustainable, dignified livelihoods.

Tribal communities possess immense ecological wisdom, yet they are underpaid for products the world values. The problem isn’t their capability-it’s their connection. Veeravratam Foundation bridges this gap, bypassing intermediaries to secure fair trade for their crafts and harvests.

Veeravratam Foundation

Our Founding Vision

Veeravratam Foundation was built on a principle that Mrs. Chayaa Nanjappa Rajappa, our founding patron, proved through 19 years of work at the helm of Nectar Fresh: that rural Indian women, tribal self help groups, small farmers; be given access, information, and community, are among the most determined and capable entrepreneurs in the world.

From one journey to many, the foundation extends its purpose to women, underprivileged and tribal folk still standing at the edge of their own beginning.

  • We are not a charity.

  • We are a platform for transformation.
